main battle tank of the British Army - Challenger. The Museum has a collection of

The Tank Museum library holds one of the largest collections of publications on armoured warfare and associated subjects in the world.
This includes serious textbooks on tank design, popular monographs, regimental histories and books dealing with uniforms and weapons. The document archive is equally extensive. It includes handbooks, technical manuals and historical documents covering all aspects of tanks and military transport.
These are supported by documents on training, tactics and techniques of armoured warfare in all periods and technical reports on captured equipment.
